Instructions
Chocolate Bread
Start by mixing the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a large bowl and set aside.
Cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Stir in eggs one at a time until creamy.
Slowly stir the wet ingredients in with the dry.
Pour the batter into a lightly greased 9-inch by 5-inch bread pan
Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit (176° Celsius) and cook for 55 to 60 minutes.
Let bread cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Then, turn out bread onto wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
Marshmallow Glaze
Mix the powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla together in a small bowl and set aside.
In a pan on medium heat, melt butter and water together. Stir in marshmallows and allow them to melt completely.
Whisk the marshmallows in with the powder sugar mixture until all the lumps are gone.
Drizzle the marshmallow glaze over your bread.
Notes
Let bread cool completely before adding marshmallow glaze or the glaze will melt off the bread.
