  • 7 Grams Dry Active Yeast (2 ¼ Teaspoons)
  • 12 Grams White Granulated Sugar (1 Tablespoon)
  • 12 Grams Table Salt (2 Teaspoons)
  • 250 Grams Warm Water  (2 Cups)

  • In a large bowl, stir yeast, salt, and sugar into the warm water until all the grains dissolve.
  • Add in flour and stir until incorporated.
  • Cover and let rise until it doubles in size.
  • Tip bread onto lightly greased and floured cooking pan. Divide into two lumps and shape into round loaves. Let dough rest for another hour.

  • Preheat oven to 425° F and cook for 10 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 375° F and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Remember: knead the dough as little as possible. The more you knead, the more dense this bread becomes.
