Due to the nature of gluten-free almond flour recipes, this bread can be a bit dense and crumbly. I love it this way for snacking on, but I can see it being frustrating if you want to make toast. This recipe doesn't rise much in the oven, so you can double the recipe and still bake it in an 8-inch by 4-inch bread pan for heftier slices. It will need to bake a bit longer to compensate for the extra dough.
